Integrative Embodied Psychotherapy

Welcome.

I am a therapist in private practice offering a holistic, depth-oriented approach to healing. My work includes individual therapy for adults, dream groups, and wellness programs for universities and other mission driven organizations.

Individual Therapy

What to expect

We’ll begin by taking time to build a genuine connection, where you feel understood and well supported. From there, we can more deeply explore what brought you to therapy and welcome your symptoms as guides pointing to what most needs curiosity and care.

My style is compassionate, direct, and draws on a range of therapeutic tools. Alongside engaged conversation, we may notice:

  • how memories and emotions live in the body,

  • explore the symbolic language of dreams,

  • give form to your feelings through artistic expression,

  • and engage with mindfulness practices.

This approach opens to deeper layers of experience and insight that can be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone.

Together, we’ll discover what feels most supportive for you. Over time, unresolved experiences can gently integrate, your emotional resources can grow, and a greater sense of clarity, self-trust, and vitality can emerge.

Who I work with

I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, gender and sexuality, life transitions, creative blocks, and spiritual inquiry.

More than any particular issue or diagnosis, this work tends to benefit people drawn to a deep process of self-reflection that integrates mind, body, and soul.

Logistics

I provide 45-minute, online therapy sessions for adults ages 18+ in New York state. We typically meet once a week, but a more intensive process with more frequency is also possible. I offer a complimentary initial consultation so we can connect, explore what you're looking for, and see whether it feels like a good fit. Please visit my FAQ page for additional information about insurance and fees.

About me

I am a Licensed Creative Arts Psychotherapist, group facilitator, and wellness program director. For over a decade, I have worked clinically with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds across private practice, hospital, nonprofit and university settings.

My training includes a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Southwestern College along with post-graduate study in Modern Analytic Group Therapy, Experiential Dreamwork, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (a body-based trauma therapy), where I have also worked as a training facilitator. I currently serve on the executive board of the New York Art Therapy Association.

My background in gardening and herbalism informs my understanding of healing as a natural and interconnected process, shaped by cycles of growth, loss, and renewal. My work is also influenced by an active studio art practice and over 20 years of meditation.

I believe that our histories, identities, and the larger systems that intersect and shape us are always present in therapy. I am sensitive to these dimensions of the therapeutic relationship, and remain committed to ongoing learning and self-examination.

Additional Offerings

Dream Groups

Intimate, collective spaces where we explore and make meaning of our dreams through an embodied and relational process. These groups foster deeper connection with self, others, and the symbolic language of the unconscious.

New hybrid groups (meeting both in-person and online) will be forming in Spring 2026.
